Who we are
Founded to form disciples, called to share the Good News of Jesus for generations to come
The Church of the Redeemer began in the 1950s as an outgrowth of Roanridge, a ministry training center equipping ministry leaders to serve in rural and under-supported Midwestern communities. The church building was built in 1960 at the edge of Platte Woods, and expanded in the 80's to our present space. Since then, we've formed multiple generations of disciples, laying foundations for our future, and witnessing God's work through diverse peoples and ministries, growing with our surrounding community. We honor our roots by continuing to imagine new possibilities with God and by equipping God's people to serve wherever we are called.
