The values for our group are:

  • LISTEN to each others stories, everyone has a story to tell. Let each member speak without interruption.

  • Motivate each other

  • ASK for help when needed.

  • Give each other space, don't feel like you always have to do all the talking.

  • Invite others to join in.

  • Have fun! get to know each other along the way, laugh, cry and get it all out!

  • Maintain confidentiality to keep what's shared inside the group private.

  • Do NOT play doctor and give medical advice.

  • Brainstorm constantly on how to keep things fresh for new and ongoing members - creativity, open your minds to try new ideas and look at things with different perspectives.

  • Flexibility- understand that we will have an agenda, but its not always necessary to follow the agenda or COMPLETE the agenda. this group is here to help the needs of its members NOT follow an agenda by the book. Some days things work and some days things don't work. We go with what the group needs that day.

  • Everyone can learn from others experiences.

  • Encouragement of prayer of members in and outside the group.
